Chris Zandee is from the Netherlands and was raised on a farm in the rural Netherlands. Farming and farmers have always held a special place in his heart.
When he settled in Indian Kashmir, his primary goal was to foster hope and drive development within the agricultural and rural communities. Their business, established in 2007 to produce Himalayan products, was founded on the principle of empowering farmers through creative problem-solving, innovative approaches, and knowledge sharing. This aimed not only to uplift the farming community but also to introduce a new wave of rural food products to the Indian market, making them accessible to the general public and retailers nationwide.
Their efforts have significantly impacted animal and milk production, fruit preservation, and honey diversification. They currently collaborate with over 150 farmers and suppliers.
