Indian food articles we loved reading in 2023

ICA sincerely wishes to celebrate Indian food writing across all formats and forums. We understand the commitment and effort it takes to put a well researched piece together. We hope such articles reach more readers; are widely debated and discussed; and, in turn, encourage more writers.

With that goal in mind, here is a list of Indian food articles we loved reading in 2023. This is not a ranking. These are personal recommendations by the ICA team members based on their own reading preferences.

We have not included works by the ICA team in this list, though there have been many that were published this year. We may put that out as a separate list.

There are many brilliant pieces that the list could not include. It is neither meant to be exhaustive nor the ultimate list.

We are eager to know from you about what you enjoyed reading in 2023. Please comment with links to your favourite pieces from 2023 and we will try to compile them into a list on the website. Let’s celebrate the food writers who gave us so much chew on in 2023 😊.
